A combination of properly designed erosion control techniques using native plant materials provide a stable shoreline in most stream and lake shoreline conditions. JFNew has completed miles of shoreline stabilization projects using bioengineering techniques to address the erosion problems. In addition to the aesthetic appeal provided by a diverse mix of flowering species, a naturally stabilized shoreline can provide habitat for a variety of species. JFNew provides design services for restoring lake and stream shorelines as well as installation. JFNew's experience and depth of technical disciplines allow us to offer design/build services, providing improved quality control and efficient project delivery.
JFNew has successfully performed design and construction projects to restore degraded habitats. Our experienced team works directly with private and public stakeholders, landscape architects, contractors and engineers to restore native communities that not only meet their aesthetic expectations, but also are ecologically functional.
